From Brigitte Lau of Team Cubes to Go
I have to admit I'm quite jealous of the CIMplify team. They are the front-runners for having the most pictures on the blog. Despite this fact, I am not submitting a picture for the Cubes-To-Go team because I left my camera at home today. Our project is moving forward. It's definitely time to focus, focus, focus. The next 3 weeks before code freeze will require some serious hunkering down, and maybe some late nights. We'll have to get creative with the number of ways we can get caffeine into our systems. Of course, there is the obvious coffee, but as we move along through the day our options open up with diet coke, dr. pepper, red bull, and even chocolate espresso beans.
Right now, my team is using the World Cup activities because it keeps their adrenaline levels high throughout the day.
The project is going well. Everyday there is some progress. We are going through an iterative process, and every week we accomplish some baby steps. Right now, we have persisted cubelets, as well as the metadata. I'm very excited to see the final project. On the business side, it's very interesting. I'm meeting a lot of incredibly intelligent people who understand the market, and know how to build the right message. It's up to me to learn from them. It's a very exciting challenge.
Today is Friday, before the nice long weekend so I'll cut this blog short. I'm planning a very relaxing weekend, to mentally prepare myself for stressful weeks ahead of us. Have a great weekend everyone!
