The 188.8.131.52 version of the OS image from IBM (which is based on RHEL 7.2) does not have this issue, so that is probably the most straightforward solution. Of course it is strongly recommended to have Red Hat Satellite Server integration in place, but sometimes it can take a little longer to do so. Finally we also performed some tests with RHEL 6.x OS images from IBM, those all worked fine. The table below summarises our findings.
