Have you found that needle? Does the haystack seem to grow exponentially? What if?

What if there was a better way to find the system z needle in a massive growing haystack?
Rather then accessing multiple logs and manually scanning them for a clue on where that needle is, why not try a recently introduced product in beta called SmartCloud Analytics Log Analysis z/OS Insight Packs now enhanced with CICS insights. With the ever increasing number of transactions supported by CICS, the pressing need to understand the environment and the changes that could impact your business is critical. Spending minutes rather then hours to find a problem can make the difference between avoiding a service crisis and experiencing a serious outage or service degradation. Of course everyone talks about "mean time to repair". Why not be the first to quickly isolate and diagnose complex problems in your environment. There are a host of issues that slip through the cracks if not detected with tools and analytics that run at machine speed. Think about some of these problems and how quickly they can be found:
1. The subject matter expert and/or application developer can search and analyze CICS messages from multiple z/OS System logs (syslogs) and Message User logs and identify CICS Storage Manager errors.
2. The Subject matter expert and/or application developer can search and analyze CICS messages from multiple z/OS System logs (syslogs) and Message User logs and identify CICS File Control errors.
More detailed examples can be found below...
Once found, we can help you connect to the solution to the problem identified. We call that smart advice and it is included with the product.
SmartCloud Analytics Log Analytics z/OS Insight Packs enhanced with CICS insights is the latest offering in beta. Log Analysis is generally available for DB2 and Websphere today. Of course this allows you to quickly identify the cause and effect between multiple subsystems. For example, did a SQL problem cause a request problem from CICS?
