We haven't talked about BEEPLight lately on this blog. BEEPLight is a technology that addresses lower level protocol concerns that are important for many of the other emerging technologies we are exploring. It is a generic application protocol kernel for connection-oriented, asynchronous interactions experimental support for SASL anonymous authentication and SASL OTP authentication according to RFC 2245 and RFC 2444, respectively. This new release also introduces support to help simplify the implementation of profiles - an experimental XML parser based on format strings. The integrated XML parser now enables profile developers to focus on their message processing.
