Developing apps for IBM Bluemix can be done with any number of development tools. But Eclipse is by far the most popular. IBM has just announced that the IBM Codename: BlueMix for Eclipse Beta has now become generally available.

IBM Eclipse Tools for Bluemix is tailored for IBM Bluemix and allow you to deploy your JavaScript, EAR, WAR, and Liberty Profile packaged servers to the Bluemix server right from your Eclipse IDE or WebSphere Application Server Developer Tools.

They also allow you to create and link services to your application, define environment variables as part of  the deployment, seamlessly support IBM Bluemix, and work with other Cloud Foundry servers.

You can download the IBM Eclipse tools for Bluemix here, and don't forget to give feedback on this link. We love to hear from you.
