Paridhi: Tell us about what Diagnostic Grifols does and what challenges was it facing?
We are based in Barcelona, but we are a worldwide operating company.
We have about 12,000 employees around the world and also $3 billion revenue roughly.
One of the main challenges we have faced is the increasing importance of software.
Paridhi: What solutions did you apply to solve your main challenge?
Jordi: Diagnostic Grifols has to deliver software that it’s every more powerful, but it also has to comply with regulations.
So we gave Agile a try. We felt that with Agile method we would be able to deliver working software before.
We started working with IBM Rational DOORS. It was our tool of choice for requirements management, design management, and also traceability.
The traceability capabilities of DOORS were the thing that convinced us to choose this tool.
Paridhi: What were some of the benefits of this solution?
