During the last few weeks, my colleagues in the Business Analytics team have taken our message about the power of IBM analytics on the road. Thus far, IBM has been a major sponsor at Gartner events in Australia and Europe.
We'll be showcasing key elements of our Business Analytics portfolio, including our Forward-Looking business intelligence, predictive analytics, performance management, data discovery with Watson Analytics, and Watson Foundations, our big data and analytics platform.
- Big data and analytics technologies, such as NoSQL, Hadoop and Watson
- Predictive analytics and the role of the chief data scientist
- Leveraging the full economic value of organizations' business data
- Modern trends in BI, such as discovery, mobile, cloud, visualization and self-service
IBM will be highly visible at booth #401, with a large booth featuring six demo kiosks and a demo theater. We'll also sponsor a hospitality suite, where you can relax and "wine down" with IBM.
One of the biggest stars of the IBM show will no doubt be IBM Watson Analytics. Be sure to to drop by the booth to see Jason Salares providing live demos of Watson Analytics every day starting at noon. We unveiled it as Project NEO at least year's Information On Demand and you can now register your interest in the beta over on our Analytics Zone..
IBMers will also be presenting in three sessions:
April 1, 11:45 - 12:30 PM (Lunchtime session): Five key decisions that will make your big data & analytics dreams a reality, featuring John Hagerty
The next wave of business innovation is being fueled by analytics. Abundant, diverse sources of internal and external data and new cognitive capabilities are not only informing business decisions, they're now being infused into customer interactions and integrated into operational processes. In this session, IBM will identify five key decisions to help you accelerate your journey to greater value, and explain what you can do now to get started in the right direction.
