After the May's announcement of IBM taking over Cast Iron, IBM is introducing WebSphere DataPower Cast Iron Appliance XH35 V5.1 and is now available from July 29th 2010. As you can notice, Cast Iron OmniConnect provides a single robust solution, designed from the ground up to deliver everything needed for cloud or SaaS to on-premise application integration. IBM in India bagged another deal, this time in the real estate space. DLF, with a pyramid symbol and a caption of 'BUILDING INDIA', is the largest real estate company in India. IBM and DLF entered into a 10 year contract, valuing around US$29m. The deal is to transform and manage DLF's IT Infrastructure. As part of the partnership IBM and DLF will also set up a Technology Innovation Council (TIC) with joint participation, to deploy innovative solutions to support world class real estate services.
