IBM and Andhra University, signed an MoU last Saturday, March 29th in AU campus, Visakhapatnam. Being an alumni and campus relation manager for this college from IBM India University Relations, it was a proud moment for me. Rajavel Sekaran, Program Director, IBM and Prof K Rama Mohan Rao, Registrar of AU, signed and exchanged the MoU documents. The key objectives of the MoU being:
The event was well attended by HoDs of various campus departments and Principals of campus colleges along with Kiran Sangita and Rajiv Gupta from the IBM Visakha Hills location and Lawrence Mohan, Yuktesh from IBM Academic Initiative team.
Being co-located in the same city, this is also a great opportunity for the teams in IBM Visakha Hills location to interact with academia. This would go a long way in helping faulty and student community of Andhra University and its affiliated engineering colleges in terms of upgrading their skills to the current trends in marketplace. I happen to meet couple of my professors and were excited about this MoU and look forward to the activities as part of this MoU.
