I've been studying Solaris' virtual memory (VM) system since last weekend, practising on two virtual clients inside the Sun VirtualBox (VB). Those are Solaris 10 05/09 and OpenSolaris snv_111 running inside VB 2.2.2 for Windows XP. Along with them are Fedora 10 and Windows 7 RC VB clients (do you feel virtualized by now?) It is a fantastic way of learning and reviewing different OSs. No long dual/triple/quad booting anymore. Everything, except the XP host, is FREE, and the whole stack are pretty stable and fast enough for my needs. Let me dedicate this post to VirtualBox, two thumbs up!
