Do you want to get an idea of how many communities there are in your on premises deployment of IBM Connections? Wouldn't it be even better to see when they were last updated? How about who owns them and whether they are a parent or sub-community? Here's what we did:
Run these commands from the command line of the Connections server, in the Deployment Manager directory (ex.
./wsadmin.sh -user xxxxxx -password yyyyyyco -port 8879 -lang jython
This creates a file called all.txt in the current directory. Now run this perl script; it will parse the all.txt file and create a CSV with these four columns: Name, Last Modified Time, Owners, Parent UUID.
Note that this sample code is provided with no warranties, assumptions, or liabilities, and you use it at your own risk. Don't call IBM support if you have a problem with it. :-)
