Abstract

The purpose of this document is to provide a supplementary guide to help those interested in a split TBSM 6.2 installation and JazzSM SSO with all the steps highlighting any "gotchas" along the way.

TBSM 6.2 Installation Guide - Step by step example with all the prerequisites installation and configuration steps including SSO configuration between DASH and Impact
 


This guide requires the following products:

  • Installation Manager 1.8.9
  • IBM DB2 Workgroup Server Edition 11.1.2.2
  • IBM Tivoli Netcool/Omnibus 8.1 - Fix Pack 18
  • IBM WebSphere Application Server Version 8.5.5 - Fix Pack 13
  • Jazz for Service Management 1.1.3 - Fix Pack 2
  • IBM JAVA 8.0.5.6
  • IBM Tivoli Netcool/Omnibus 8.1.0.4-webgui Fix Pack 15
  • IBM Tivoli Netcool/Impact 7.1 Fix Pack 15

The guide covers the following areas:

  • Complete steps for setting up the server for TBSM Data Server (server 1) with description for installing or upgrading:
    • Installation Manager 1.8.9
    • DB2 Advanced Workgroup Server Edition 11.1.2.2
    • Omnibus 8.1.0.5 core and upgrade to Fix Pack 18 (there are also some configuration steps needed for omnibus)
    • Netcool/Impact 7.1.0.15
