We came across an IMS OTMA problem and it took us a few minutes to sort out the problem.
CSQ2003E !MQ0M CSQ2QCP0 OTMA REJECTED MESSAGE - SYSTEM ERROR, SENSE CODE=00300001, XCFGNAME=NATIVE2 XCFMNAME=IMSSERVM
For SENSE CODE=00300001 this is IMS OTMA code 0030
OTMA has detected a message flood condition for an OTMA member or for all the members. The number of input messages waiting to be processed exceeds the currently defined maximum number allowed. To protect the IMS™ system, OTMA rejects the new input messages until the flood condition is relieved.
The 0001 is The flood condition for a specific OTMA member was detected. No new input transaction can be accepted from this member.
This means that there were transactions queued up in IMS - and IMS pushed back to MQ.
Someone asked me how I found which queue was causing the problem from the TPIPE.
The DIS Q(*) WHERE(TPIPE,EQ,CSQ804002) did not work, so I ran a CSQUTIL job with the DIS Q(*) TPIPE command, browsed the output and searched for CSQ804002.
