I was doing some MFT work on z/OS and fell over a restriction in JZOS.
I was defining a template and had -md KW4=value4,kw3="Hello World"
The template was created with kw3 = "Hello - just taking the first word. The rest was ignored. This is because it looks like the parsing in JZOS is a bit simplistic and cannot handle quoted strings.
This applies to JVMLDM71, JVMLDM77, JVMLDM86.
One solution may be if you can use underscores for example -md KW4=value4,kw3="Hello_World"
Having quoted strings works on on non Z/OS platforms
