Little type: "You can convert 512 byte blocks to blocks" should say "You can convert 512 byte blocks to bytes" ;-) <br /> Anyway, great post. <br /> As always ;-) <br /> Cheers, Gabriel

very useful article but if you are a lazy person and just want to quickly convert between bytes there are plenty of online converters on the web that can do it for you, check this one http://www.acroniscoupon.info/bytes-converter-and-calculator.html you can even convert between such monsters as petabytes and exabytes

[Trackback] It’s pretty common for me to have to make size conversions between 512 byte blocks and something more readable, such as Megabytes or Gigabytes. I’ve got a simple formula to do the conversion. How to convert 512k byte blocks to Megabytes or&amp;...
