Hi Brian, <div>&nbsp;</div> Nice post! Very handy tip. <div>&nbsp;</div> FYI - With newer releases of AIX, IBM.ManagementServer has been replaced by IBM.MCP. e.g. lsrsrc IBM.MCP <div>&nbsp;</div> Cheers. <div>&nbsp;</div> Chris <div>&nbsp;</div>

Thanks for the info Chris. I've updated the post with the lssrc IBM.MCP command information.

Hi guys. I know this is a bit older blog but I'm having some issues with the script. I can ssh from my NIM server to all 4 of my HMC's with no password. But when I execute this script all I get is a list of the HMC's in a web format. What did I miss?

Double check your SSH keys, and try running this manually to see if it works: ssh -o "BatchMode yes" -q <HMC> lssyscfg -r sys -F "name,state"</HMC>

ssh -o "BatchMode yes" -q hscroot@hmc1 lssyscfg -r sys -F "name, state" <div>&nbsp;</div> After running that command I get a listing of my managed systems on hmc1.

In the input file you need to specify userID@HMC if the userID you are running the script as is different than your HMC userID. <div>&nbsp;</div> Try putting this in your input file: <div>&nbsp;</div> hscroot@hmc1

The formatting on that comment got a little messed up, it should just be: hscroot@hmc1 in the input file.

That was the key. I should have thought of that Brian. Thank you. I appreciate the time and help.

Hi, <div>&nbsp;</div> Sorry to comment on this older blog, but it looks more worth and fetch the details easily . <div>&nbsp;</div> I need a help to implement this in my environment, i have tried to ssh to HMC from our NIM Server and it is working fine, However iam having problems with the execution plan as iam not well versed with high level scripting or i can say just scripting. <div>&nbsp;</div> If possible i can give a call anytime needed ,my e-mail ID :
