The first link is for paid IOUG members only. It's called Enhancement Voting and it allows you to provide feedback to Oracle regarding pending Enhancement Requests (ERs). Here's an overview of how the process works:
- Oracle has collected ERs through its MetaLink support site
- Oracle Product Managers have distilled the list down to potential enhancements
- IOUG members vote for their most important enhancements by choosing a high, medium, or low priority
- Oracle uses the data collected to help prioritize its development efforts
The second link does not require a membership, but you will need to register for free. It's called "I love PL/SQL, and...". Created by Steven Feuerstein, this site has a list of 15 pet peeves that Steven currently has with the PL/SQL language. Again, you can vote on any or all of them, which will in turn send an email directly to Bryn Llewellyn, PL/SQL Product Manager at Oracle. Of course, if you have any PL/SQL pet peeves of your own that are not on the list, there are links to submit them to both Steven and Bryn for inclusion as well. There is no deadline specified as of yet, but I would vote for your peeves asap, just in case!
