For a company that began bad-mouthing the TPC-C benchmark -- coincidentally with Sun's announcement of the UlltraSPARC-III at the turn of millennium -- it is shocking they have no shame. Further, for a decade afterwards, Sun claimed not only were TPC-C results not useful in systems sizing (and nobody said they were) and didn't represent modern data center OLTP requirements, they would point out that clustered environments are even more of a 'joke" since you could basically add servers until a desired tpmC result is obtained. <div>&nbsp;</div> No shame: Sun posted tpc-c results on a massive cluster!<div>&nbsp;</div> -David Davidian
