This is interesting information and of course the marketing pages for GPFS reflect numbers like this as well. When I searched through the RedBooks I didn't see any recently published results of benchmarking testing. Are there plans for making any of these "internal benchmarking test" data available? I'm specifically looking for benchmarking data for AIX instead of Linux and I'm especially interested in the specific hardware used to run the tests.<div>&nbsp;</div> thanks. <div>&nbsp;</div> fyi - This blog on benchmarking in general is very enjoyable. I just came across it for the first time tonight. I'm glad to see a blog like this devoted to performance data.<div>&nbsp;</div>

Thanks for your comment. More recent GPFS performance collateral can be found on the Techdocs site at http://www.ibm.com/support/techdocs/atsmastr.nsf/Web/TechDocs. I would recommend continuing to check the Techdocs and the Redbooks sites in the future for this type of data. Thanks !
