Scott,great post as usual.<div>&nbsp;</div> I particularly like the staged gate approach. It effectively mitigates the risk of software buyers by keeping developers honest, after all 3 months is not particularly long contract so the need/desire for more work keeps quality high.<div>&nbsp;</div> I found a pure time of materials without conditions/bonuses for good work can quickly deteriorate.
