PowerVM has multiple internal Virtual Ethernet Switches - Info please?

I regularly get asked:
They are wanting to run two (or more) virtual switches within the one Power machine to completely separate the network packets of groups of virtual machines (LPARs) so they know for sure there can be no communication between them for security reasons. The groups may be, for example:

1) The "IBM PowerVM Virtualization Introduction and Configuration" Redbook, talks about them in section 2.10.3.
