That's neat. Now if the details of your CICS service were stored in some sort of Service Registry, and the agreed clients were also modeled in a Service Registry, with Service Level Agreements between client and service, then I can see this exit looking up such contract information and using it to allow or reject connections.

@DavidSeager That is certainly an extension to this type of exit that we could apply. There is no restriction on calling out to other services from the CICS Transaction Gateway exits so it would be possible to do this providing there is a Java API for retrieving the necessary information from the Service Registry. Glad to see that the post here got the ideas flowing.
