Installing WebSphere Service Registry and Repository (WSRR) can be a complex task. In the past, the information needed to install WSRR was in the information center and was adequate, however, it was hard to put it all together. Thankfully, the new version 8 information center has a new feature called the Dynamic Installation Guide. It is an interactive tool that will gather all of the installation documents you need to install WSRR version 8 in your custom environment. Click the below link, answer six questions about your environment, and click the 'get your complete instructions' button and that is all there is to it. The tool will then display a list of all of the steps you need to take to install WSRR in your environment.

Example: As you can see I selected Windows, Install into an existing WebSphere Application Server, Install into an existing Cluster, Install using DB2, On a remote server, and I want to use the interactive tools.
