It seems that the order of the version identifiers in the CWMTC2156E message are unexpected and incorrect.
Concerning the CWMTC2156E message that is presented when starting cluster members after applying Cognos maintenance, our Business Monitor developer said that this message can be disregarded. The design for checking levels of the Cognos code does not handle the service pack numbers. This is why the order of the version identifiers in the CWMTC2156E message seems unexpected.
The CWMTC2156E message can be ignored, but if there is a desire to avoid the message, then a change to a property file can be made. Please follow the steps below to remove this message from your Business Monitor 8.5.* environment.
2. The MIN_BUILD property is initially 10.2.6100.235 (for the Cognos 10.2.2 base). This can be changed to 10.2.6101.79 for Cognos 10.2.2 FixPack 1.
3. This change should be made on all node machines that support nodes with Cognos cluster members (usually the Support cluster).
