Rational Method Composer and Practices
I just posted a blog entry on using some new tech preview capabilities to perform round-trip method authoring. This allows your process engineer to create robust practices in RMC and import them into Jazz. Team members can create and edit the the content, which can then be imported back into RMC for harvesting.
See the blog for more information.

RSS Feed readers are a great way to keep up to date on the latest news, including the latest RMC news.
RSSOwl is one such reader.
There are a number of feeds that you can subscribe to with valuable information about RMC. For your convenience, I have collected these in the following opml file.
You can import this into RSSOwl and read all your RMC news in one place.
I have posted two short (3-7 minute) recorded demos of the Rational Method Composer/Rational Team Concert interoperability capabilities to integrate process enactment and process guidance. The first video shows how to publish an RMC generated webapp, that includes a published process configuration with advanced search and RSS servlet components, to a Jazz Team Server. The second shows how to generate work item templates based on a Work Breakdown Structure (or portion of a WBS) in RMC. These work item templates can be imported and instantiated in RTC to create a release plan, iteration plan or ad-hoc set of tasks. Each of these work items created in RTC from the template includes links back to the process guidance hosted on the Jazz Team Server.

I've you're interested in using RTC with RMC, I've posted a blog on using the SCM feature with RMC.

Rational Method Composer 126.96.36.199 was released on December 14,2011. This fixpack includes several exciting new features, including:
1) Enhanced Process Builder
The Process Builder Wizard makes it easy to create the right method configuration based on your project characteristics and context. The Wizard presents a set of user defined questions and possible answers, and based on the answers selected it will create method configuration. We have enhanced this wizard in several ways. You can now select individual elements (vs. entire plug-ins or packages) based on custom queries. You also have an option of creating a single plug-in that contains all elements required to publish the method configuration. This single plug-in has all variability resolved, making it easier for casual RMC users to use and tailor. Subtractive filtering, in which you start with a given set of elements and "REMOVE" elements that are not required is also supported.
2) User Defined Types
It is now possible to define your own method element types. Each user defined type can have up to 7 custom rich text fields, custom icons, and custom relationship types. User Defined Types can reference any other SPEM type and can be referenced from any SPEM type that supports references to guidance elements. This provides a means to better align your published methods to your own unique terminology.

We have a new series of articles on the topic: Document and automate processes with RMC and Jazz.
The first article in the series discusses the importance of documenting methods for enabling and scaling agile development. This article also summarizes the value proposition of an integrated approach - documenting methods with Rational Method Composer, and automating the enactment of those methods using Jazz. Link to article on developerWorks.
On the second article, we illustrate the Rational Method Composer and Rational Team Concert integration capabilities. We use a scenario where the team adopts available (as-is) process assets to support the use of Collaborative Lifecycle Management tools. Link to article on developerWorks.
The third article in the series talks about how the team customizes the available process description and updates the project area with new roles, new tasks, etc. Link to article on developer works.
The fourth and last article of this series explains how a team starts with a new process description and creates a new process template to automate the process in the project they are about to start. Link to article on developerWorks.
