
No more Java applet in Maximo 7.6.0.6 feature pack
Howdy! In Maximo 7.6.0.6 workflow designer no longer requires java applet to load. i.e. I no longer need to install an appropriate Java Runtime Environment (JRE) and wait for the applet to load in workflow. Less time waiting, more time working! Newly Added Maximo Attributes Do Not Have Translations
When are language changes (translation files) released in Maximo? Language translations are addressed at the Fix Pack and not IFIX level. There may be cases where a new attribute may be added in an IFIX but no translation will be available for it. Translations are not provided through IFIXs. Any new/changed translations are in fix pack releases. For example if a new attribute was added in a 7.505 IFIX then the translation would show up in the 7.506 fix pack. With Maximo 7.6 we can configure in-session logging for an individual user so that other users are not affected by performance issues, create custom log messages and review the content between these messages in the log.
