If you have made any data restrictions on main objects it doesn't automatically inherited to the views. For an example if you have made the restrictions on WORKORDER object. There are other applications uses the views such as "Activities and Tasks", these restrictions will not be applied to "Activities and Tasks. To resolve the issue you need to apply the restrictions to the views as well.
Some users would like the "E-mail Password to User?" checkbox to not be checked by default to avoid accidentally sending unencrypted email messages containing passwords. Currently the "E-mail Password to User?" check box is hard coded to always be true. Some users may be using Start Center Templates in edit mode as a Start Center tab and the Administrator cannot do the modifications. User cannot modify a Start Center Template. Overview I see a lot of clients who are always asking for updating user status based on their status in Active Directory (AD). Can we change the maxadmin, maxreg and mxintadmin username ? That's not a recommendation that we can give you. What happens is that once you change those usernames in your Maximo environment users will be already created, and Maximo installation process will probably fail with the following error message: Error: CTGIN2080E: Process automation engine database configuration failed.
