I have been in Maximo Support for many years and often the question comes up what does LIFO/FIFO do?
You can define your costs on an item by item basis by changing the cost type in Inventory on that item or a default for your site in the Organization application->Select Action->Inventory Options->Inventory Costs.
In here, you can define what accounting method you want to track so that your costs reflect the standard for that item.
When you do that, the Inventory application displays a different table.
It can happen you misplace your password for the WebSphere Administrative Console where you have your Maximo deployed.

Maximo® for Service Providers 7.5.3 introduced the feature to automate the billing of price schedules, which means no need of human interaction to create bill batches and copy transactions. With this function you can choose the frequency of billing generation and group these b ill batches by order number, customer cost center, customer PO, or reporting user, expanding the possible ways to organize customer billings.
