Abstract

Scheduler - how to add values to "Modify WO details" dialog

Body

You can modify WO details in Scheduler application through “Modify Work Details” right click action.
This action is applicable for both single and multiple selected work orders.
If you want to add any new (even custom) fields to this dialog to update a related work order you may want to consider the following steps.
ABC attribute (field) there could be an out of the box WO attribute (field) or a custom attribute (filed). 

Steps below are for the custom attribute. Skip step 1.1 for the existing WO attribute.

1. Go To System Configuration > Platform Configuration > Database Configuration
  1.1. Select WORKORDER Object
   Switch to Attribute tab and on Attributes table window create a new ABC attribute
  1.2. Select SKDWOMODIFYDETAIL Object
  Switch Attribute tab and on Attributes table window create a new ABC attribute (same as Object: WORKORDER, same as Attribute: ABC)
  Create another attribute ABCYORN of type YORN and class com.ibm.tivoli.maximo.skd.app.virtual.FldSKDWOModifyDetailsClear
  
  1.3. Apply Configuration Changes action

2. Go To System Configuration > Platform Configuration > Application Designer

   Search and Select Scheduler Application
   Click on Edit Dialogs icon at the toolbar.
   Click on MODIFYWO dialog and close the Edit Dialogs dialog.
   Click on Textbox icon and drag and drop in Details Section of Work Order table window
   Click on Textbox icon and drag and drop in Mass Update table window
   Right-click in Textbox icon added and select Properties, click on Select Value in Attribute field, filter by ABC in attribute field and SKDWOMODIFYDETAIL in Object field, select the         attribute and close the Textbox Properties dialog
   Click on Checkbox icon and drag and drop in Mass Update table window
   Right-click in Checkbox icon added and select Properties, click on Select Value in Attribute field, filter by ABCYORN in attribute field and SKDWOMODIFYDETAIL in Object field, select the attribute and close the Checkbox Properties dialog.
 Save the changes.
