It was an incredible time! Clients, Business Partners and IBMers from around the world gathered during the last week of February 2014 for the annual IBM Pulse Conference.
Pulse is an amazing opportunity to network and exchange best practice information, as well as catch up on the latest and upcoming product features.
Numerous technical sessions were lad by Maximo Clients, Business Partners and IBMers on all aspects of Maximo including upgrades, integrations, best practices and more! The solution expo with its snazzy white couches and big screen displays continued to have a huge draw as clients met one on one with Maximo Experts on the latest features and functionality questions.
For Reporting, it was great to see so many familiar faces, and also to meet so many new people! There were a number of Maximo reporting sessions, including a fabulous session with Tom Rosenburg from General Motors and Robert Clarkson from Raytheon where they reviewed how they utilize and extend Ad Hoc reporting in their environments. To download a copy of their presentation, click here.
Other reporting sessions detailed the roadmap of Maximo Business Intelligence and the new Maximo BI Packs. The Maximo BI Packs enable you to dynamically display key metrics in a dashboard display. For more information on the BI Packs, access their wiki pages here
Additionally, numerous BI questions were asked on BIRT, Ad Hoc and Cognos reporting. For a listing of the most frequently asked BI questions from Pulse 2014, click here
Please be sure to utilize the Maximo and Reporting Service Management Connect (SMC) Virtual Communities so you can keep up to date on all the latest Maximo information! Thank you - and please let me know if you have any questions at email@example.com
