You can extend the provided business logic of the Maximo Anywhere applications to satisfy your specific business processes. However, you shouldn't modify our javascript files directly because we might not preserve these changes during upgrades, and you do not want to manually merge your code changes every time the product upgrades our javascript files.
This document details an extension approach using Javascript mixins that modifies Javascript business logic in a way that is preserved across upgrades.
