Maximo 7.6 Default Log Locations for Installs

Maximo 7.6 has a slightly different directory structure and I wanted to point out to everyone some key default log locations that will help when it comes time to troubleshoot a 7.6 install.

Windows platform :

IM logs : C:\ProgramData\IBM\Installation Manager\logs

Maximo UpdateDB logs: C:\IBM\SMP\maximo\tools\maximo\log

Middleware Installer logs: C:\ProgramData\IBM\Installation Manager\logs

Config tool logs : C:\IBM\SMP\ConfigTool\logs

DB2 Deployment script logs : C:\Program Files\IBM\SQLLIB\TPAEAutomation\DB2_10\logs

UNIX platform:

IM logs : /var/ibm/Installation Manager/logs

Maximo UpdateDB logs: /opt/IBM/SMP/maximo/tools/maximo/log

Middleware Installer logs: /var/ibm/Installation Manager/logs

Config tool logs : /opt/IBM/SMP/ConfigTool/logs

DB2 Deployment script logs : /opt/IBM/db2/V10.5/TPAEAutomation/DB2_10/logs
