I would like to share an example of how to use the Service Contract. because I have not found many examples about it.
You can create a service contract with the total cost $ 58,080.00
You could create a service line or a standard service line (Service Items application)
Still in Draft status, you can manage the payment, I mean; you can schedule payments as follows:
44 weeks would be approximately 10 months, so I put as a payment period from Feb 01 to Dec 05
Approve the Contract
So you will have 10 invoices $5808.00 but you can change the value as needed.
