Flow clarification on the pricing of Price Books in Maximo for Service Providers (SP)

Hi,

 

My name is Edgar Mengelberg and I have been working with the Maximo and TPAE product suite in various Support roles for over 15 years.

 

As the Service Providers' Maximo Industry Solutions  is quiet unknown territory for a lot of you out there, let's have a brief high level overview of  the fairly new functionality of Price Books (SP).

 

The Flow for Price Book pricing looks as follows:

 

 

 

Dates that are used in Price Books (SP) are as follows:

 

Actuals:

  1. LABOR --> this is based on Start Date. (LABTRANS.STARTDATE)

  2. MATERIAL -->this is based on Actual Date (MATUSETRANS.ACTUALDATE)

  3. SERVICE --> this is based on Entered Date (SERVRECTRANS.ENTERDATE)

  4. TOOL--> this is based on Entered Date (TOOLTRANS.ENTERDATE)

 

Plans

 

  1. LABOR --> this is based on Required Date (WPLABOR.PLUSPREQUIREDDATE) or Report Date (WORKORDER.REPORTDATE) when Required Date is not found.

  2. MATERIAL --> this is based on Report Date (WORKORDER.REPORTDATE)

  3. SERVICE --> this is based on Report Date (WORKORDER.REPORTDATE)

  4. TOOL --> this is based on Report Date (WORKORDER.REPORTDATE)
