Check out the new supervisor work center

As part of Maximo 7.6.0.5, we released innovative work centers, which provide a central location for users to view, act on and analyze a variety of Maximo actions and information. Three work centers are provided focusing on individual Maximo personas including a technician, work supervisor and business analyst.  

The supervisor work center was designed around a Kanban board, and as such, is a work visualisation tool that enables supervisors to optimise the flow of their team's work. The cards on the board represent work items in the work management process as they move around the work center. Based on lean thinking concepts, the primary principles are to visualise work, optimise work in process, focus on flow, and enable continuous improvement.

We delivered the work center around a simple scenario for low volume work order management – assign, monitor, and close work. With this approach, the work supervisor can quickly progress work from assignment to close through simplified work order information and targeted actions.
