How can you see which KPIs you have scheduled to calculate in Maximo 76?

Create a Maximo Ad hoc report -  Fantastic!

Starting with Maximo 76, you can schedule individual KPIs to run (calculate) at various time intervals by defining unique cron task instances.   This enables you to calculate dynamic KPIs on a daily basis – and other less changing KPIs can be calculated on a weekly or monthly basis.

But then….whew…we all get busy…and ummmmm….which KPI did a schedule?  And which one didn’t I?  And what schedule did I assign it?

Maximo ad hoc reports can help you with this!  Simply create one – and run it – whenever you need to check out your KPI scheduling.

1.  Create your individual schedule instances in the KPICronTask in the Cron Task Setup application.

2.  Create a report object structure, with KPIMAIN as the parent and KPISCHEDULE as the child object in Integration Object Structures.

3.  Grant security access to the new report object structure you created in the Report Administration application.

4.  Assign individual KPIs to the schedule instances in KPI Manager.

5.  Create your new ad hoc report detailing which KPIs have schedules associated to them, and which ones do not.
