Users can now interact with Maximo Workflow using a smartphone without having to login to Maximo.
Simply reply with "1" to approve the work order and route to the next step in workflow or "2" to cancel the work order.

After upgrading to Maximo 7.5 many clients have decided to keep on using Issues and Transfer application. One of the reasons for using Issues and Transfer application instead of the new Inventory Usage application is due to training issues. Users do not want to learn a whole new application and business owners do not want to spend money on training.
However, Inventory usage application is actually quite easy to use and it offers all the features available in Issues and Transfer application.

In Maximo java classes we don't always use the right method to get the unique id value: it always has to be getLong("<uniqid>") .
In the recent code you may find getInt (mostly), getDouble, or even getString to get the unique id value, which can lead to run time errors (and PMRs) in the future (we already fixed (and hotfixed) many issues happening because of that).
