Did I say a Quick Active Directory integration setup? Yes. My Maximo 7.1 server uses LDAP security with Microsoft Active Directory 2008. Users and groups are synchronized with LDAPSYNC.

When Maximo for Transportation and Maximo Asset Configuration Manager are installed together, their features and applications complement each other but might, in certain scenarios, also cause confusion about the best practice for primarily managing certain assets in one product instead of the other product. Monday's work: Migrating a Maximo server, Part Two.
Yesterday's list looks really neat, doesn't it? I revised yesterday's list of to-do's extensively, in light of what actually happened during the migration. For one, I had to keep checking where I was storing my databases. I created a diagram on my white board to keep them all straight. Listed below are the databases and instances affected by the move. The new server is called MAXNC3082 .

I have a bit of an advantage with this migration. My source and target servers are ideally suited for each other: they have the same operating system and bitness - Windows s008 R2 64-bit.

Dynamic Scheduling were introduced in Maximo Scheduler 7.5.2 release
That allow clients identify new emergency work that has entered the schedule. Alert the user that emergency work has been found and that there are resources identified that are available to be assigned. Recently we got a customer complained some UI interactions in Maximo 75 are too slow.
