Problems with Link back to Oracle. Error: Download error: "Unexpected HTTP response: 404 Not Found" <br /> Specifically with http://download.oracle.com/MANUAL_BES_CACHING_REQUIRED/jre-7u11-windows-i586.exe <div>&nbsp;</div> Anyone working with Oracle on their link problems?

Hi JCBUPS, as how it works before, you need to download JRE installer manually and store it in BES server download cache. Please refer to "Important Note" in the respective fixlet, eg. <br /> Important Note: Follow the link for the 'Java SE Runtime Environment (JRE) 7 update 11' download on this page. The file "jre-7u11-windows-i586.exe" must be downloaded, renamed "682fb136563f08c20d37b25a28fce0883f893d8b", and placed in the BES Server download cache for this action to complete successfully. For more information about manually caching file downloads on the BES Server, please see the following BigFix Support Knowledge Base article.

Oracle required a click on the license agreement before you can proceed to download the files. That's why for JRE updates, we need the user to download them and put them into TEM server cache folder manually. Here is one of the notes in the description of the x64 fixlet: <div>&nbsp;</div> Important Note: Follow the link for the 'Java SE Runtime Environment (JRE) 7 update 11' download on this page (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html). The file "jre-7u11-windows-x64.exe" must be downloaded, renamed "41c3af2cf67c367066863a067ce831cf80586cdb", and placed in the BES Server download cache for this action to complete successfully. For more information about manually caching file downloads on the BES Server, please see the following BigFix Support Knowledge Base article (http://support.bigfix.com/cgi-bin/kbdirect.pl?id=390). <div>&nbsp;</div> Same thing applies for x86 installers.
