Syndicator stuck in "Pending" status
Occasionally syndicator is stuck in pending status. Restart of the syndicator server is required to clear the issue.
There is no single solution to the issue at this point but these steps have helped other customers with a similar issue:
1.Run the task to re-organize wcm data for your database type. For DB2 this process is commonly known as runstats/reorg. Run on both syndicator and subscriber.
2.Disable other syndicators and subscribers if possible while troubleshooting issue
3.Leave syndication trace running on syndicator and subscriber. Stop the trace on both as soon as the issue is encountered. This will help IBM Support analyze the issue. The syndication tracestring is: com.aptrix.deployment.*=all:com.aptrix.syndication.*=all
4.Increase syndication.keepAliveInterval in WCM_WCMConfigService (default is 60 seconds)
5.Increase total transaction lifetime timeout to 480 seconds: dMgr or WAS Admin Console > Servers > WebSphere application servers > WebSphere_Portal > Container Services > Transaction Service.
