I think this is a good idea. I actually had to watch several webinars on the social business platform for the company I interned with this summer. It really helped me to understand how to use it. They did, however, get a little boring and repetitive so I wouldn't require employees to watch all of the videos. The younger generation could probably get a good understanding of the platform after one or two videos.

I totally agree with your idea! I offered a similar idea, but in-person workshops rather than video ones. However, I think that the idea of guiding employees to use the enterprise is the best way to get them on board- to show that they are all in together.

I believe a system of workshops is vital to the success of a new platform. I also like your idea of video workshops because that increases the accessibility of them. Perhaps by adding some sort of incentive to attending workshops or watching them online, you could possibly increase the effectiveness of a workshop program.

I agree with this completely. From personal experience at various jobs, I am much more comfortable using a new and unfamiliar program if I have been given a few hours with someone who is an expert and can teach me beyond the basic functions. Usually the rest comes naturally after that and if I feel it was a good experience, I am more inclined to continue to integrate it into my work.

I absolutely agree with your idea and was planning to suggest something very similar. One of the reasons is that the person my team contacted at IBM said workshops are being organized at the moment for the exact same reason. This is an effective way to introduce people to social platforms and teach them how to use it. When employees see that they are not the only ones who need training, they feel more comfortable attending the workshops too.
