If a company were to slowly integrate the social networking platform into everyday work tasks, then the platform would slowly become seamlessly incorporated within the daily functions of the workplace. Because employees don't necessarily enjoy being "forced" to use a program they are uncomfortable with, the first step in implementation should be an orientation in which the need is articulated. Then, slowly perhaps the company could start with isolating something basic like e-mail to the program so now employees would have to log into the program to view their inbox. Gradually, instead of company documents being sent via e-mail, a forum could be created in which documents could be posted, and commented on without creating a massive e-mail chain. Basically, by slowly changing the way employees execute mundane tasks, it creates the need to use the platform each day. Without creating the need for the platform, employees would not utilize the program and therefore, be unable to understand the value of using it.
