Today’s DB2Night Show featured the top 10 contestants who were chosen by the judges in February. They each had four minutes to impress the audience and replay listeners. That’s correct. This time the judges are giving feedback, but are not choosing the best competitor. I must say that I’m very glad I’m not choosing the best. If you were in the audience today or if you listen to the replay, you’ll see what I mean: All presenters were incredible Lots of learning happening today!

in DB2 9.7. DBADM is still a superuser of sorts, but there are
granularities. SECADM and DATAACCESS authorities were added. Great
presentation on the permissions for each user type. Great information
presented in an educational fashion. AND, she finished in time.

Synchronized DB2 LUW on AIX to their legacy iseries system. Very good description on Federation and how it is set up.

Lots of situations when you'd use DB2MOVE. Good description on what the command does, its options, actions and how to use them.

scenario created to define problem and how it was analyzed and solved
using MQT. And... he spelled cheque correctly! Way to go!

definitions and contrast between snapshot and temporal. Lots of
details in the scenario that shows the problem and how it is solved.
The topic was too large to complete in time.
= Data Manipulation Scanner. Great presentation style. I like how
different approaches were discussed with pros & cons. Good use of
examples and sample code.
