Someone just sent me the latest edition of this magazine, and I noticed that it includes articles from two authors who I know:
Thomas Erl is the editor of the magazine and he has an article in this edition. He's a published author who I've spoken with several times. If you know what SOA is... then you likely know of the books by Thomas!
Tinny Ng also has an article featured in the current edition: Identity Services for SOA.
Tinny was the lead author in the following book that published earlier this year:
Understanding IBM SOA Foundation Suite: Learning Visually with Examples
By: Tinny Ng; Laura Chan; Jane Fung; Vivian Mak
Last Updated on Safari: 2009/05/27
Publisher: IBM Press
Pub Date: August 18, 2009
This book and CD package brings together 26 quick tutorials designed to help implementers and developers get up-to-speed fast with IBM SOA Foundation products - and use them to deliver real solutions.
Note: DB2 is NOT one of the products covered in this book... so use this book to come up to speed with all the other SOA products that may work with DB2.
The authors help technical professionals quickly get up the learning curve, by showing exactly how each product works, how they fit together, and how to use them together. Each self-contained chapter offers a "big picture" product overview, as well as hands-on techniques. The companion CD doesn't just provide corresponding code: it also includes a full video version of each tutorial.
Thanks to both Thomas and Tinny for continuing to educate the world on the benefits of SOA!
