Winning a free trip to an IDUG conference of your choice is the first prize in this year’s “DB2’s Got Talent” Competition. The IDUG locations that you’d choose from are Denver, Berlin or Sydney. It would be pretty difficult to choose from such wonderful places, but that’d be a tough problem to have!
What do you have to do to win?
You will need to create short technical presentations about DB2 and present them to attendees on the DB2 Night Show’s webinar. If the judges choose you, you’ll get yet another chance to create a presentation. In the finals, your peers vote to select the ultimate winner.
Sound easy? If you know DB2 well, it should be easy. Beyond winning a trip to IDUG, you’ll be improving your technical and presentation skills, building a very strong network, and making a name for yourself as an expert.
Learn from past presenters. Those who take part in this year’s competition have it much easier than last year’s contestants. Those who participate this year can review all the great presentations (especially those from the top 5: Mary, JB, Thiru, Momi, and Norberto)that were delivered last year and can learn from them. Here are my blog entries with links to the replays:
