One of the things I'm doing this summer is planning for the IOD conference... specifically arranging for books to be at the bookstore and authors to be available for book signings. I have a lot of work left to do, but here are some of the people I know who are ready to sign your books:
Carlton Doe for his soon to be published book: Administering Informix Dynamic Server: Building the Foundation
Roger Sanders for his entire cert prep series, but especially DB2 9 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows Advanced Database Administration Certification: Certification Study Guide.
Martin Oberhofer and possibly his co-authors of Enterprise Master Data Management: An SOA Approach to Managing Core Information.
Martin Short... just kidding! It would be great if we could arrange for him to sign something that he's produced, but don't count on it.
Stewart Friedman will be a speaker at the conference. Read this article that appeared in the NY times: Hot Ticket in B-School: Bringing Life Values to Corporate Ethics. The book that he wrote and will sign is Total Leadership: Be a Better Leader, Have a Richer Life.
I'll be at the conference and hope you will be too!
I'll post more secrets about the conference when I find them!
