Last year at the IOD Conference, one of the more popular events was handing out printed copies of the IBM Redbooks for Cognos 10. There were a limited number of copies that we had to hand out, and we went through them very quickly. Many other people came and left empty-handed, unfortunately. I pointed out that the book was available for free online at the ibm.com/redbooks site. Clearly there are many people who still prefer to have printed copies!
This year at the IBM Information on Demand 2011 Conference, we’re announcing up front which IBM Redbooks we’ll be handing out, and when. Make sure that if you want one of these books that you come to the Conference Bookstore at the planned times to get your copy. If you miss it, you miss it… but can get the content online!
Get one of the limited copies… and meet the author team behind the book. Maybe you can even find out how you can become an author of an IBM Redbooks.
