Today was the second show of the finals for the DB2’s Got Talent 2012
Competition. I wasn’t able to participate, so IBM Champion, Cristian
Molaro filled in for me. Like many of you, I’m listening to the replay a
few days after the live show.
If you didn’t participate live, I strongly encourage you to watch the replay . We had the
top 10 contestants from Round 1 present 4-minute technical presentations to us.
Once again, we ended up with very high quality presentations from very
experienced users of DB2 products.

My TV is on its last legs, so what did I do? I searched several websites for
possible replacements and only considered those that had customer feedback and
multiple stars. I do this for books, movies, electronics, cars, just about
anything I consider buying. Do you do the same thing?
If the feedback from someone with actual experience is positive, I am more
likely to seriously consider buying the item myself. If the feedback is

least 3 times the phrase “That’s the way you do it!” came to my mind as
contestants were presenting. Not only were their slides well done, but so were
