Using the IBM Support Portal

The IBM Support Portal is a one stop shop for technical support information for any IBM product. It is highly customizable and provides the capability to access technotes or knowledge base articles, troubleshooting information, downloads, service requests and PMRs and other product reference materials.

For IBM Sterling Commerce customers:
You can add IBM Sterling Commerce products using the Find a product pane in the Portal. Once you add the product of interest, the Portal will dynamically load technical support contents for that product in Featured links, Flashes and alerts, Top ten technotes in the Portal landing page. Apart from this the Portal also refreshes th
You can also access their Service requests and PMRs using the Support Portal. You will be required to sign-in with the IBM ID and keep your IBM Customer Number (ICN) handy for this step.
The Support Portal also features a Search option, where in you can search the Support database for known issues, troubleshooting content, defect fix information and downloads.
There is an option to translate the Portal page to nine other languages to cater to the global customer community. The Support Portal also features IBM Support resources, contact information and news links as well. Customer can provide feedback using the Help us improve online support feature in the Support Portal.
