Abstract

New Enhancement released on WMS 8.5 - “Uninduct Cart” introduced in Sterling Mobile Application.

Body

Have you faced batches stuck on an equipment after inducting into a wrong cart? If so, then we have a solution for you.

The Uninduct Cart menu is our latest offering in WMS 8.5 with Fix Pack 93.

This issue occurs when you have a multiple Batch Pick task types and some associated with a specific equipment type. For example, a cart.

Create a shipment and wave it. A batching task is generated for a task type that is not associated to the equipment (Cart).

Next go to the Mobile Application menu and chose Induct Cart option.

Enter the equipment (Cart) and the batch.

You have inducted the batch into the wrong cart.

However, when you proceed to the Cart Pick option, you cannot complete the task.

The new menu now allows a user to uninduct the wrongly inducted batch or cart and proceed with inducting into the correct associated equipment.
